Women applying to become In-House Volunteers or Special Service volunteers who have lived with addiction in the past, must be in active recovery.

    In accordance with BC Assisted Living protocols and the BC Government requirements, a criminal record check is mandatory for all volunteers working with vulnerable persons and will be facilitated by Stepping Stones. Additionally, 3 character references must be provided via e-mail or in hard copy, before your first shift.

    In-House volunteers are required to transport the women to activities and meetings from time to time in the Stepping Stones vehicle and must have a valid BC Driver’s License.
